Music at the Manor: Jazz Jam

The Essex Jazz Collective band was founded as a musical family with a passion for mainstream jazz [Swing, Latin, Bebop/HardBop, Blues] repertoire of public-appealing & technically demanding tunes, but also with the intention to add a twist to traditional jazz music.

This collective of seasoned jazz musicians is based in the vibrant regions of Essex and Hertfordshire, united by their love for jazz and an eagerness to explore its boundless possibilities. Their ensemble is known for their innovative takes on jazz standards, swing rhythms, and the intricate melodies of Bebop. They aim to share our passion for jazz with audiences far and wide.

The EJC band will host the event with two EJC showcase sets, each followed by a one hour jazz jam sessions across the afternoon & evening. The Jazz Jam sessions will be open to all amateur musicians to play along to a jazz track.

The doors open at 5:00pm, giving you plenty of time to secure the best spot on the lawn and soak up the electric atmosphere before the music starts at 7:00pm.
